The terms and conditions on the right applies to all the entertainment packages and hiring packages that JPB Services can provide for you.

 

Please read carefully before proccessing the request because this can be referred to as a legal backing in the future of purchase

Terms and Conditions

Please read these carefully as they may have an effect on your package or item hire!

Hire Conditions

 

If you are hiring items from JPB Services you must abide by the few terms and conditions we have situated below.

Basically we expect you to look after the item when it is in you name. We do have an overcharge tarrif and expect full payments for lost/damaged or stolen items wether it is accidental or done purposly. JPB Services has these terms and conditions in place to protect the items the comapany and most importantly yourself. If you have a problem with any of the terms and conditions below regarding to hire then please feel free to contact us and we will try to adjust to suit your needs. These terms and conditions must be followed when hiring any of the items JPB Services has. All items from JPB Services are under the full terms and conditions with NO exceptions. JPB Services reserves the right to change the terms and conditions at anytime. However if you are currently hiring an item and the terms and conditions are changing then you will come under the terms and conditions from when your date of hire started not the new ones. If the terms and conditions are changed before hire there will be a full written explanation on what has changed in the contact box to the left of the page where urgent messages are displayed. If you are currently down under a hire period and the terms and conditions are changed before your hire you will be notified and asked to review the new terms and conditions. We hope the terms and conditions are easy to read and are happy to help at any question you may have over a term or condition.  

Package Terms and conditions

This is very simular to the Hire Section of the terms and conditions you must agree to all the terms and conditions on the terms and conditions page.

Everyone taking a package are advised to read below the terms and conditions regarding your package. If you break an item while using the package you will have to re-pay the full charge of the item (Or read below) Also if you are late back with the package items you will be charged per item per hour/day. Not as a whole package.

Please read the following terms and conditions for the packages.

Timing Of Hire

 

The start time of your hire is any time after 10am on the first day of hire. The end time of your hire is 1PM latest on the last day.

For example: If you choose Day hire You can collect the item/s on the day stated after 10AM. These items must be returned by the LATEST of 1PM the following day at the place of collection unless otherwise notified.

If you choose a week hire you can collect the item/s on the day stated after 10AM. Theses items must be returned by the LATEST of 1PM on the 8th day at the place of collection unless otherwise notified.

If you run over the deadline time of 1PM you will need to notify a company member as soon as possible so we know the item/s will be late back. However on items that are late back there is a charge. This charge is per hour and is at a high rate this can be found in the overtime charge section of the terms and condions.

You may extend your hire period by contacting us, and if we can extend the hire period we will accordingaly however there is an extra charge per day on this option which can be viewed in the overtime charges section of the terms and condions.

If the day of return is due on a 'non working day' such as sundays bank holidays or for other reasons and we cannot recive the item/s you will be notified and there will be no extra charge per day, per item until we reopen.

Contact Terms & Conditions

If you intend to visit JPB Services office/storeroom you must ring to book in advance as there is no defined company location. Not all the equipment is stored in one place. if you intend to fax JPB Services you will be charged. Emailing JPB Services is free of charge and we will not pass on your details to third parties or other people. If ringing JPB Services on 0115 88 00 705 you will be charged at you loacal normal rates there is no additional charge for this number.If you ring our other office number 07017 34 35 44 you will be charged at you normal rate plus an additional rate for this call. If you have contact of an old JPB Services office number or out of hours number these may be charged with additional rates. JPB Services Opening hours vary. Our main hours are 9am through till 11PM Every day except days otherwise notified and christmas day, however depending on avalibility of our lines, the work load we may be undertaking and for other reasons your call may not be answered or you will hit answer machine. JPB Services reccomends not leaving a message as we do not always review them but we urge you to try again another time as we may be avalible at a later time.

Deposits

Deposits are asked for when undertaking a package these deposits vary from £10 to £100 and must be paid in full at the latest 3 days before your package starting date. However if you book last minute the deposit will be needed 24 hours after contact or before the package is used. Deposit prices vary depending on the package chosen. You may pay in full instead of a deposit. There may be a deal on with regards to paying fully instead of a deposit for example: 10% off order price if paid in full for deposit. these are limited offers and full terms and condtions for offers can be displayed on the terms and conditions page. Deposits must be paid in full and not in installments. The Full payment must be paid by the latest on the day before work starts, However more information on Full payment is stated in the terms and conditions page.

Breakages/Damages/Theft/Loss During Your Possession

Breakages/Damages

If an item is broken or damaged while in your possession you will be liable for a full payment for a replacement of that item. All company items are under our breakage and damages terms and conditions from an extention lead to a full range speaker ect. If the damage is minimal and can be repaired easily then you may only have to pay repair and labor charge for this item. If the item is broken/damaged in your possession you are entirely responsible for the extra payment to repair/replace the item. You are held entirely responsible for the item/s you hire from JPB Services and you will be expected to return the item back as it went out and keep good care of it while it is in your possession.

Theft/Loss

If an item is stolen/lost during the hire period you will be charged the cost to replace the item stolen or lost. However theft and loss cannot be helped we do offer a theft and loss extention this costs £6 a day per item unless the items hire charge is higher, then the charge will be £2 more than the hire price and can be used for a period of 1 week only. This allows you to have a chance in finding the item instead of paying for a full new product straight away. If you still have not found the lost/stolen item/s by the end of the extention you will be required to pay the full item replacement charge and the theft and loss extention fees. This cover may be inactive for your hire and if so this will be put on your invoice letter. If the item is stolen the local police station must be notified by yourself incase it appears JPB Services will check to see if you have contacted the local police two days after the reported loss/theft of the item if the police say they have not been notified about the missing item and you are on the theft and loss protection extention you will be required to pay the full cost of the item and the days used on the theft and loss protection extention immediately.

Bulbs

If a bulb is to blow during your hire period you must notify on return of the item. If you have broken the bulb you will be held responsible for a bulb replacement. JPB Services logs new bulb replacement's and if the bulb is inactive before half of its expected life you may be charged for a replacement. Bulb prices vary on the item, they range from around £3 to £100 a bulb.

Opening of an item

Most of if not all of our items have seal stickers to prevent the opening of an item. Only a JPB Services team member is authorised to open the cases to the item/s. If a seal is broken on return you will be questioned on why you opened the case and charged for any damage caused by the opening of the case and work undertaken by a non JPB Services team member. You will also be charged £1 an item to replace the seals and secure the item/s. This is for your own saftey and the saftey of our equipment

Overtime charges

THIS IS INFORMATION TO PROTECT YOU AGAINST RUNNING OVERTIME AND GETTING CHARGED AT THESE RATES. DO NOT RUN OVER YOUR RETURN DEADLINE AND AVOID OVERTIME CHARGES. REMEMBER THE LONGER YOU HAVE IN OVERTIME THE MORE IT COSTS!

Overtime charges are very important to a contract as running over the specified time could become costly. As most overtime charges they are high and cost more per hour/per day. The way to avoid overtime charges is to simply return the item before the deadline failure to do this will result in a very costly charge. If you are hiring more than one piece of equipment or are part of a deal/bundle the charge will be per item not for the bundle/deal. The rate for overtime is: for items up to £2 the charge is per hour and is charged at - half the daily hire price + 65% On top. (For example: the item is a £1.50 charge a day but you have run over therefore you will be charged at 75p + 65% which is £1.23 this is charged at an hourly rate.) For items £2.01 - £5 the charge is per hour and is charged at - half the daily hire price + 50% On top. (For example: the item is a £3 charge a day but you have run over therefore you will be charged at £1.50 + 50% which is £2.25 this is charged at an hourly rate.) For items £5.01 - £10 the charge is per hour and is charged at - half the daily hire price + 45% On top. (For example: the item is a £8 charge a day but you have run over therefore you will be charged at £4 + 45% which is £5.80 this is charged at an hourly rate.) For items £10.01 - £50 the charge is per hour and is charged at - half the daily hire price + 40% On top. (For example: the item is a £42 charge a day but you have run over therefore you will be charged at 21 + 40% which is £29.40 this is charged at an hourly rate.) For items Over £50.01 the charge is per hour and is charged at - half the daily hire price + 38% On top. (For example: the item is a £100 charge a day but you have run over therefore you will be charged at £50 + 38% which is £69 this is charged at an hourly rate.) 
If you hire extends to over 6 hours you will now face a diffrent charge this charge is per day per item: For items up to £2 the charge is per day and is charged at - 3 times the daily hire price + 98% On top. (For example: the item is a £1.50 charge a day but you have run over therefore you will be charged at £4.50 + 98% which is £8.91 this is charged at an daily rate.) For items £2.01 - £5 the charge is per day and is charged at - 3 times the daily hire price + 92% On top. (For example: the item is a £3 charge a day but you have run over therefore you will be charged at £9 + 92% which is £17.28 this is charged at an daily rate.) For items £5.01 - £10 the charge is per day and is charged at - 3 times the daily hire price + 85% On top. (For example: the item is a £8 charge a day but you have run over therefore you will be charged at £24 + 85% which is £44.40 this is charged at an daily rate.) For items £10.01 - £50 the charge is per day and is charged at - 3 times the daily hire price + 78% On top. (For example: the item is a £42 charge a day but you have run over therefore you will be charged at £126 + 78% which is £224.28 this is charged at an daily rate.) For items over £50.01 the charge is per day and is charged at - 3 times the daily hire price + 73% On top. (For example: the item is a £100 charge a day but you have run over therefore you will be charged at £300 + 73% which is £519 this is charged at an hourly rate.) These charges may be changed and may be adapted to help you if you do run over time. If you are currently in a state where you cant get the item back due to a specific reason there may be expections in the charge. All overtime due items will be charged and there is no escaping any overtime charge. These charges must be paid in full on the return of the item.
